About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead / Data Platform Lead to lead the Japan delivery of a large-scale global data platform transformation program.
This role sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and data architecture, serving as the key bridge between Japan-based stakeholders and global engineering teams. You will be responsible for driving successful delivery, influencing technical decisions, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value.
This is a high-visibility role offering the opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions, partner with senior stakeholders, and help shape the future of enterprise data capabilities across a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
Japan Delivery Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of a strategic enterprise data platform, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, quality, and business outcomes.
- Act as the primary bridge between Japan stakeholders and offshore engineering teams, driving execution and delivery excellence.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations while maintaining alignment with local and global objectives.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build trusted relationships with senior business, IT, and global stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for Japan.
- Lead workshops, governance forums, and executive updates in both Japanese and English.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making.
Technical & Architecture Leadership
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design conversations with global engineering teams.
- Ensure alignment between global architecture standards and Japan business requirements.
- Influence key technology decisions, challenge assumptions, and guide teams toward scalable, business-focused solutions.
Data Platform & Operational Excellence
- Lead the delivery of modern data platforms across ingestion, transformation, data warehousing, and analytics enablement.
- Drive DataOps best practices across CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational performance.
- Promote data quality, platform reliability, and continuous improvement across the data ecosystem.
Governance & Business Value
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish effective data ownership, stewardship, and access management practices.
- Drive the delivery of data products and capabilities that improve business insights and measurable outcomes.

求める人材:
Required Qualifications
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data, analytics, or technology transformation programs in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud architectures, and offshore delivery models.
- Open for occasional travel to Osaka office (Umeda).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with DataOps, CI/CD, and data governance practices.
- Experience delivering analytics, data products, or AI-enabled solutions.
