Role Overview: In this role, you will partner with major OEM, ISP, and Telco organizations to deliver consumer cybersecurity solutions, serving as a bridge between business and technical teams. As consumer cyber threats and data breaches continue to grow in frequency and sophistication, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to a critical and innovative area of McAfee's consumer business while collaborating with strategic global partners. You will drive product innovation in consumer security, leveraging the latest AI-powered technologies to deliver enhanced protection, user experiences, and business value.
This is a Hybrid position; you will be required to be on-site on a as needed basis, when you are not working on-site you will work from your home location. You must live within commutable distance of the Tokyo office as we are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Position Details:
About the Role
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Tier 1 OEM, Telco, and ISP partners to deliver innovative consumer cybersecurity solutions while managing both technical and business relationships.
You will quickly understand partner environments, identify potential challenges, and recommend solutions that simplify integrations and improve deployment outcomes.
Working across global, cross-functional teams, you will drive project execution, coordinate requirements, manage deployment schedules, and ensure successful partner acceptance.
As a subject matter expert for McAfee products, you will support product innovation and enhance the consumer experience through AI-powered security technologies.
You will work directly with engineering teams and partners to troubleshoot technical issues, validate product functionality, and ensure solutions meet McAfee's quality standards.
Based in Tokyo, Japan, you will lead partner engagements, presentations, testing efforts, and process improvement initiatives while reporting to the APJ Director of Partner Product Management.
About You
You should have 5 to 9 years of partner-facing experience with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.
You should have proficiency in Japanese and intermediate-level English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global business environment.
You should have a strong understanding of the consumer cybersecurity threat landscape and a good grasp of emerging AI technologies, trends, and tools.
You should have experience in software development and quality assurance, particularly on Windows platforms, along with an understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
You should have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for learning new products and technologies, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and ideally bring experience working in multi-lingual, cross-cultural environments, familiarity with McAfee products and services, strong analytical skills, and experience collaborating with global strategic partners.
