You will be active as an equipment design engineer in the ME department. You will be involved in the entire process from the development stage to mass production in one project/job. There are opportunities to collaborate and exchange technologies with engineers at overseas bases, including Korea and Shanghai. There are also business trips abroad, and in the future, there is a possibility of being stationed overseas.

What You Will Do
Design, development, and management as a mechanical engineer for assembly machine
1. Process design and equipment design for connector manufacturing machine
2. Advanced development and standardization of manufacturing machine technology
3. Participation in new product development, development support, and manufacturability improvement support
4. Internal design and release of prototype and mass production machine
5. External procurement and release of prototype and mass production machine
Mainly responsible for the design and development of fully automatic and semi-automatic machines for connector manufacturing, involved in engineering tasks related to connector product development. Examples include the development design of new equipment, modification design from existing equipment, productivity improvement, process design related to product manufacturing, and improvement activities for better manufacturability.
In particular, responsible for the conception, mechanical design, implementation, and commissioning of semi-automated and fully automated equipment aimed at improving productivity in the manual assembly and inspection processes of high-speed, high-density connectors used for semiconductor testing.
Expect to utilize your knowledge and experience to technically lead the team that carries out these tasks and the new product development project to success.
An important role include supporting the technical growth of the team's junior engineers.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in developing electronic component manufacturing equipment
- Experience in equipment design and mechanism design of fully automated assembly equipment with a series of processes including assembly, inspection, and packaging
- In particular, experience and knowledge of manual assembly and inspection processes, as well as their semi-automation and automation
- Knowledge of electrical and control systems required for designing these equipment
- Experience operating 3D-CAD
- Japanese: Native or business-level proficiency
- English: Business level
