The Field Sales Specialist (FSS) is responsible for Expanding existing key customers through equipment & service rental sales. Drive pipeline growth of opportunities in equipment and rental service orders with EPCs, Licensor and Packagers. Prospecting opportunities to grow future consumable run rate by partnering with the account managers for opportunities at their key customer accounts, identifying new potential customers through leads and market insights, and proposing winning equipment and rental options.
This position reports to the Asia Pacific Sales Manager, FSS, Energy+ BU and is part of the Field Sales Specialist Team located in Tokyo and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual orders targets as assigned by Energy+ management.

Lead and drive sales for equipment & services by significantly increasing market share with existing key customer accounts and in assigned region.

Promote Pall technologies and capabilities for Equipment, Services in assigned markets including new energy market.
-
Strengthen customer relationship at all levels including senior management and key decision-makers within customer organizations.
-
Develop pricing strategies based on customer needs & willingness to pay, lead complete negotiations with customers including contracts terms and conditions.

Lead cross-functional teams within Pall to develop and implement effective team strategies that address customers’ needs promptly and secure sales opportunities.

Position, present, and demonstrate Pall’s equipment, system and consumable technologies within customer process development and manufacturing groups, collaborating closely with Sales and/or Strategic Specialist teams to showcase advanced solutions.

Report and communicate all business opportunities, solution concepts, and strategies to Pall management through the use of SFDC / Energy+ SW/tools per funnel management SW.

May perform other duties as assigned including special projects and other administrative tasks.
The essential requirements of the job include
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in mechanical/chemical engineering, or technical degree) or equivalent experience considered.
-
10+ Years of Sales experience in Technology, capital goods (equipment) and in providing products and services to Refinery and Oil & Gas, Chemical or General Industrial industries.
-
In exchange for sales experience, we will consider experience as a process or static engineer in an Oil & Gas, facility looking to change a career in technical sales.

Sales experiences with OEM catering large international EPCs, Licensors, Oil & Gas refineries & processing plants will be added advantage
-
Fluent in Japanese and daily conversations level in English
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Ability to travel upto 50% of travel, overnight, within territory or locations

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 Kg, any other physical requirements
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

New energy markets like hydrogen, Carbon capture, SAF, and Energy transition solutions

Working on global companies, close collaboration with cross functional and cross regional structure.

フィールドセールススペシャリスト（FSS）は、EPC・製油所・石油ガス等プラント向けの設備およびサービスレンタルの販売を通じて既存の主要顧客のビジネス拡大を担うポジションです。EPC（設計・調達・建設会社）、ライセンサー、パッケージャー向けに、設備販売およびレンタルサービス案件のパイプライン拡大を推進します。

【ご担当いただく業務】

月次・四半期・年間の販売・受注目標を達成するための営業戦略を策定・実行する。

担当エリアおよび既存主要顧客に対して設備・サービスの営業活動を主導し、市場シェアを大幅に拡大する。

新エネルギー市場を含む担当市場において、Pallの設備・サービスに関する技術およびソリューションを提案・促進する。

顧客の経営層および意思決定者を含むあらゆるレベルで顧客との関係を強化する。

顧客ニーズや支払意思額を踏まえた価格戦略を策定し、契約条件を含む商談・交渉を主導する。

顧客ニーズに迅速に対応し、受注機会を獲得するため、社内のクロスファンクショナルチームをリードし、効果的な戦略を立案・実行する。

顧客のプロセス開発部門および製造部門に対し、Pallの設備、システム、消耗品技術を提案・デモンストレーションする。また、営業チームおよび戦略スペシャリストチームと連携し、高度なソリューションを紹介する。

SFDCやEnergy+関連システム／ツールを活用し、ビジネス機会、ソリューション提案、営業戦略をPallマネジメントへ報告する。

【求めるスキル・知識・ご経験】

大学卒業以上（機械工学・化学工学などの技術系専攻が望ましい）。同等の実務経験も可。

石油・ガス、石油精製、化学、一般産業分野の顧客に対し、産業用設備機器や技術ソリューション、関連サービスの営業経験を10年以上有する方。

石油・ガス関連プラントにおいてプロセスエンジニアまたは設備（静機器）エンジニアとしての経験をお持ちで、技術営業へのキャリアチェンジを希望される方を歓迎します。

大手国際EPC、ライセンサー、石油・ガス精製プラントやプロセスプラント向けOEM営業経験があれば尚可。

国内・海外出張に対応可能な方
