Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field. Professional engineering license (PE) in Japan is highly preferred. English proficiency for work purposes is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on grid connection, power systems, or energy storage projects (BESS, solar PV, wind) in Japan.
- Proven track record in handling grid permit applications and communicating with Japanese grid operators (e.g., TEPCO, KEPCO, Okinawa Electric Power) is mandatory.
- Experience in evaluating EPC electrical designs for large-scale energy projects, familiarity with Japanese electrical standards (JIS) and grid codes is essential.
