The Wave Propagation Research Department at NTT Network Innovation Laboratories aims to create flexible wireless environments and achieve interference-free transmission by applying wave control technologies—characterized by distinctive propagation properties developed in the field of optics—to radio waves. You will work with team members to advance research on wireless communication technologies being developed by the group. Specifically, you will engage in:
1. Beam generation, control, and separation technologies for Multishape Radio
2. Spatial multiplexing transmission technologies using Airy and Bessel beams
3. Radio wave separation technologies using Stacked Intelligent Metasurfaces
4. Related research themes
Must hold a Ph.D.
We welcome applicants who are highly motivated to explore new areas in wireless communication, electromagnetics, and antenna engineering.
Contract renewals are annual based on performance, with a maximum of three years.
Possibility of promotion to permanent employment (indefinite term) during the term.
