As we continue to scale our presence in Japan, we are looking for a Technical Account Manager to be the technical heartbeat of our client partnerships.
Why this role matters
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Tokyo, you aren’t just troubleshooting; you are a strategic partner to the largest players in the AdTech industry. You will act as the primary technical bridge between our clients and our internal Product and Engineering teams. Your expertise ensures that our integrations are seamless, our data is actionable, and our clients are empowered to reach their full potential using the IAS platform.
What you’ll do:
Lead the Technical Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for our integration partners, addressing complex technical queries and ensuring their long-term success.
Solve Complex Problems: Take ownership of daily technical challenges, diagnosing integration issues across APIs and SDKs, and providing swift, effective solutions.·
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to grow existing business, while providing deep technical insights to our global Product, Engineering, and Legal teams.·
Drive Innovation: Use your knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem to identify trends and provide feedback that shapes the future of our product roadmap.
What you’ll bring:
Experience: 5+ years in a technical account management or client-facing technical role. Experience within social platforms or the social media landscape is highly regarded.
Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and data analysis. You should feel comfortable navigating APIs, SDKs, and ad-serving tags.
Industry Depth: A strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, web traffic analysis, and the broader AdTech ecosystem.
Mindset: You are a critical thinker who enjoys "thinking outside the box" to solve unique integration challenges
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred
Nice to have:
- Experience with Mobile and Video advertising.
- Proficiency in Python, Unix, or CSS.
