Engagement Overview
We are seeking a technical trainer for a short, focused engagement delivering a structured training programme to a cohort of professionals over 6 days. The course content and materials are already developed; the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering that content with clarity and confidence.
The ideal candidate combines strong facilitation skills with the ability to operate fluently across Japanese and English, ensuring the material lands effectively with a Japanese audience. They will also be able to quickly pick up on new material with upskilling provided where necessary.
Upon successful completion of this project, there will be scope for reoccurring future engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an existing, pre-developed training programme to a cohort of professionals across a three-day schedule.
- Facilitate sessions in Japanese.
- Present technical concepts clearly and engage participants through discussion, examples, and hands-on exercises as set out in the provided materials.
- Manage the pace and flow of each session to ensure all content is covered within the allotted time.
- Respond to participant questions accurately, drawing on subject-matter understanding to add context where helpful (subject matter expert support will be available)

Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to instruct, explain technical material, and field questions confidently in each language.
- Demonstrable experience delivering instructor-led training, workshops, or technical enablement sessions to professional audiences.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to maintain engagement across a multi-day programme.
- Comfort working from pre-prepared materials while reading the room and adjusting delivery accordingly.
- Professional, self-directed working style suited to a short, high-impact engagement.
Desirable (Good to Have)
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
- Background in Marketing Technology (Martech) — platforms, tooling, or implementation.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies and associated concepts.
