Job Summary
The Sales Representative at TÜV SÜD Japan Academy is responsible for driving business growth by promoting and selling professional training and certification programs across various sectors.
This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. The position also involves conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, and able to build strong relationships while contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, develop and engage potential and new clients in industries such as government agencies, universities, medical and industrial sectors
- Manage and build long-term relationships with key accounts
- Promote Academy portfolio of training in different industries
- Execute and achieve sales targets
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and discussions to understand client needs and offer customized solutions
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, pipelines and forecasts
- Collaborate with the operation team to ensure services are delivered as per client expectations.
- Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and offline.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and trade shows.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather client feedback and communicate it to relevant departments for continuous service improvement.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with client interactions, leads, and follow-ups.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding services provided.
- Communication with different stakeholders in the company locally and internationally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business / sales & marketing or any relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales preferably in education, training management and industrial sectors.
- Strong passion for sales and knowledge of modern marketing techniques
- Strong knowledge of MS. Office and ERP software
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Languages: Native Japanese and business / fluent English
- SAP Module knowledge
