As an Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth progress of the Guidewire ClaimCenter project, managing the project plan, leading the IT program team, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire system development process for the Guidewire ClaimCenter project
- Develop and manage project plans in collaboration with business partners and shared services
- Apply project management processes to lead and manage IT program teams
- Resolve project challenges and manage risks
- Conduct project meetings and track progress
- Ensure vendor performance meets contract specifications and SLAs
- Provide technical and analytical support to project team members.

Entry requirements and qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in implementing projects for Japanese customers as a vendor
- Experience interacting with customer-facing operational level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and SDLC (Systems Development Lifecycle) methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with local delivery teams to solve customer issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Native level Japanese
Welcome experience:
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- PMP certified with Agile/Lean experience
- Guidewire Cloud Experience
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native
- English: Nice to have (not required)
- Other languages: Chinese (preferably)
