Role Overview

You will be responsible for the development of SkyDrive's complete aircraft real-time capable simulation models deployed on desktop computers and piloted engineering simulators. The simulation model is used for aircraft design and certification activities, for safety of flight assessment prior to actual flight test and for test pilot training. You will be involved in the development and integration of simulation models with the company's engineering simulation devices.
You may also be called upon to develop, support, and maintain the simulation team's software tools used to increase the team's productivity and efficiency. These tools include requirements management, version and configuration control, data visualization, automation of tasks.

Computer based simulation has become an essential element of modern aircraft design to provide a robust, optimized, and safe vehicle for flight crews and passengers. SkyDrive has opted to develop its simulation capability in support of the design, testing and certification of its aircraft. You will play a pivotal role in this cutting-edge capability.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in modelling and simulation
Flight Dynamics
Simulation of electrical and mechanical systems
Software specification / development for integration of aircraft hardware, simulated hardware, visual/audio systems, and host computer,
C++/Python/MATLAB/Simulink and automatic code generation

Desirable

Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems
Experience in flight simulation
Experience in validation of simulation
Experience in system identification
Knowledge of simulator qualification practices
Experience in aircraft flight and ground test
Experience in use of simulation for certification

Proactive Solution Architect, Anticipating internal user and program needs, delivering robust simulation solutions that meet high standards
Demonstrates a keen sense of ownership and urgency, consistently meeting program milestones and deadlines with disciplined execution.
Drives team productivity by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing innovative software tools and automation strategies that maximize the efficiency of colleagues.
Acts as a reliable and communicative team player, providing diligent support and comprehensive documentation for all simulation software and tools under their responsibility.

Type of Employment

Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
Probationary period: 3~6 month

Place of Employment

Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Measures to Prevent Secondhand Smoke: Smoking Room Provided
Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)

Working Hours

Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- In the case of flextime: No core time
- Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00（Including 1hour break time）
- Overtime Work: Available

Holidays

115 days off per year（Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays（12/29～1/3） / Company designated holidays）
Annual paid leave
Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)

Salary

Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000- JPY 11,500,000
- Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680- JPY 296,697
  *Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
