【Position Overview】
We are looking for a creative developer who works comfortably across both design and code.
You can take an idea or a reference and turn it into a polished, working experience, and you own the visual craft from concept to launch. Much of the work is Shopify-based storefronts, but not all of it.
You will also build outside e-commerce, including custom sites, interactive experiences, internal tools, and prototypes for new ideas. You will work closely with our designer, front-end developers, and marketing team. You will have both the support of a team and the freedom to shape and improve the experience.
We value people who bring their own ideas and can demonstrate them through working prototypes.
【Key Responsibilities】
- Design and build custom storefronts and websites, from concept to launch
- Translate ideas and references into polished, working interfaces
- Prototype and iterate quickly
- Build reusable components and features across our brands
- Take on projects beyond e-commerce, such as interactive sites, tools, and experiments
- Give close attention to layout, motion, interaction, and detail
- Keep experiences fast, responsive, and consistent across devices

【Team Structure】
You will join our Engineer division, where engineers, designers, and marketers work in tight collaboration.

【Work Style】
- Weekends and public holidays off, with 125 annual holidays.
- Average monthly overtime: ~10 hours.

【Employment Type】
Full‑time employee (Permanent)
Probation period: 6 months (no change in salary or benefits)
【Compensation】
Annual salary: ¥4.2M–¥8.5M
Monthly salary: ¥300,000–¥600,000 + bonuses
Salary determined based on experience and capability
Bonuses:General employees: 2 times/year
Comprehensive/managerial roles: 3 times/year
Salary increases: Conducted based on performance
【Work Location】
Harumi Triton Square X‑Building 22F, 1‑8‑10 Harumi, Chuo‑ku, Tokyo
Nearest station: Kachidoki (Toei Oedo Line)
【Working Hours】
Flextime System (8 hours actual work)
- Start time: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- End time: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Core hours (mandatory working hours): 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Average overtime: ~10 hours/month

Full two‑day weekends (Sat/Sun)

【Required Qualifications】
- Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar)
- A portfolio demonstrating creative, visually considered work
- A good eye for design, and the ability to build visually and work independently
- Professional-level English
【Nice to have (any of these is a plus, none are required)】
- Shopify and Liquid experience
- Understanding of core e-commerce flows (cart, checkout, order handling)
- API integration (REST, GraphQL)
- Webflow, headless commerce (Hydrogen), or motion work (GSAP, Framer Motion, WebGL)
- Git and CI/CD
- Business-level Japanese
- Cross-border e-commerce, or experience with Japanese crafts or inbound-tourism products
