Our client is a major Japanese tech company, who offer a range of services from e-commerce to finance. The company has a progressive culture and in some business units more than 50% of empoloyees are non-Japanese. The work style is hybrid - and the company offers significant benefits, such as 3 free meals per day when working at the office.
Main duties:
- Delivering end-to-end systems, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Communicating effectively with the team, related departments, and stakeholders.
- Monitoring system stability and performance, optimizing performance, designing and
maintaining system architecture, refactoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting.

- Language : Japanese Business level
- 3+ years of experience as an engineering leader or team lead Preferred
- 5 years' experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
(ES6+).
- Experience with TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Experience in frontend frameworks/libraries, specifically React.js. (more than 3 years
experience).
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web
accessibility (WCAG).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges
and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
