Keen to work with leading resellers, ISVs, MSPs, and SIs in Japan to shape their cloud and FinOps success?
SoftwareOne Japan is expanding and nurturing its partner ecosystem. As Channel Account Manager, you will collaborate with diverse channel partners to accelerate growth by leveraging cloud expertise, software optimization capabilities, and the Cloud iQ platform. The role focuses on enabling partners to maximize customer value and profitability across cloud, licensing, and cost optimization solutions.
Key responsibilities:

Identify, engage, and onboard new channel partners, driving expansion of the SoftwareOne's Channel Sales Partner ecosystem

Build trusted, long‑term relationships with existing partners, working closely with executive and sales stakeholders

Develop and execute partner‑specific sales and go‑to‑market strategies across cloud migration, software optimization, and FinOps

Enable partner sales and technical teams through training, enablement sessions, and solution positioning, including vendor programs (e.g. Microsoft, AWS)

Own revenue, pipeline, and forecast management for your channel portfolio, ensuring accurate CRM reporting

Collaborate cross‑functionally with presales, technical teams, and marketing to support partner campaigns, events, and customer initiatives
What we need to see from you:
- Fluent Japanese skills; working‑level English for documentation and collaboration with global teams is an advantage

Experience in B2B sales, ideally within a channel, partner, or distribution environment (relevant IT industry experience is a plus but not mandatory)

Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand partner business models and propose value‑driven solutions

Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing across multiple organizations
