The Role
Your role
As a Network Technical Sales (Customer Technology Advisor - CTA) professional within the Network & Edge organization, you will leverage your network expertise and sales capabilities to propose integrated Network, Security, and Cloud solutions based on customers’ business challenges and future vision.
Working closely with Customer Partners, Consult Partners, Solutioners, and Delivery teams, you will lead complex, large-scale opportunities for major enterprise customers from identification and proposal through contract award, contributing to long-term IT infrastructure transformation, customer value creation, and Kyndryl’s business growth.
What you will do
• Identify customer business and technical challenges through executive and stakeholder discussions
• Develop new and expansion opportunities centered on Network, Security, and Cloud solutions
• Plan and deliver customer proposals, presentations, Request for Proposal(RFP) responses, and technical advisory sessions
• Coordinate solution design, proposal development, estimates, and internal approval processes
• Work with Solutioners, Delivery teams, and other stakeholders to shape executable solutions
• Support contract discussions, deal closing, and post-win follow-up to create additional business opportunities
• Advise on areas such as data center connectivity, hybrid cloud, Zero Trust, and remote access
Who You Are
Required skills and experience
• Experience in IT solution sales for enterprise customers
• Knowledge of, or proposal experience in, network-related solutions
• Consultative selling experience based on customer business challenges
• Proven ability to manage opportunities from creation through closing
• Experience leading proposals with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in an SIer, IT services company, or IT consulting firm
• Strong proposal, estimation, presentation, relationship management, and Japanese communication skills
Preferred skills and experience
• Sales experience with megabanks, financial institutions, or other enterprise industries
• Experience in network delivery, design/build, operations, or technical pre-sales
• Knowledge of Security and Cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with modern network areas such as SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust
• Experience driving large, complex, or multi-stakeholder proposal opportunities
• Experience in IT outsourcing sales or team-selling environments
• English communication skills and experience collaborating with Customer Partners or Consult Partners
