スクラムベンチャーズは、投資チームのシニアアソシエイト、またはプリンシパルを募集しています。本ポジションでは、投資機会の発掘、デューデリジェンスの実施、ポートフォリオ企業の支援、市場分析の構築に関与し、投資チームの重要な役割を担っていただきます。また、マーケティングやブランド構築にも貢献していただきます。本ポジションは、特に米国と日本のベンチャーエコシステムにおける幅広い経験を得られる機会を提供します。

We are looking for a Senior Associate or Principal to join our Investment Team in Tokyo, Japan. As an Associate, you will play a vital role on Scrum’s investment team, leading efforts to source investments, conduct due diligence, support portfolio companies, and develop market theses. You will also contribute to marketing and brand-building initiatives. The role offers exposure to global venture ecosystems, particularly between the U.S. and Japan.

日本国内を中心に新規投資案件について、財務・技術・市場・事業運営面からデューデリジェンスを実施し、投資委員会へのプレゼンテーションを行う
ディールメモおよび四半期報告書を作成する
書類作成、契約管理、LP対応など、資金調達およびファンド運営業務をサポートする
市場調査、競合分析、技術ロードマップの作成を行う
スタートアップコミュニティにおけるネットワークを構築し、有望な投資機会を発掘する
審査中の企業に関する面談内容や進捗状況を記録・管理する
業界イベントやカンファレンスに参加する
新たな投資機会に関する投資仮説を構築する
事業開発・営業支援、資金調達、市場調査など、ポートフォリオ企業のさまざまな活動を支援する

Evaluate new investments primarily in Japan through financial, technical, market, and operational due diligence. Present as needed to the investment committee
Prepare deal memos and quarterly reports
Support fundraising and fund administration tasks such as documentation, contract management, and LP communication/requirements
Develop market research, competitive analysis, and technology roadmaps
Build relationships within the startup community and source potential investment opportunities
Document meetings and updates of companies under review
Attend industry events/conferences
Develop investment theses for new opportunities
Assist in supporting portfolio companies in various activities, including business/sales development, fundraising, market research, etc.

テクノロジー企業、スタートアップ、投資銀行、事業開発、経営コンサルティング、ベンチャーキャピタル、またはプライベートエクイティにおける実務経験、もしくはこれらの分野に関連する業務経験
資金調達および関連書類・要件への対応経験
MBA取得前後いずれの方も対象
優れた対人能力および数的・定量分析能力
細部まで注意を払い、正確に業務を遂行できること
高い文書作成能力
チームで協働しながら、自律的に業務を推進できること
PowerPointおよびExcelを用いた業務遂行能力
複数の業務を並行して進め、適切に優先順位をつけられる高い整理・管理能力
「Founder-First」の考え方に共感できること
スタートアップ、テクノロジーコミュニティ、起業家精神、ベンチャーキャピタルに対する強い関心
日本語ネイティブレベル、かつ英語での実務遂行能力を有すること

At least 3+ years of experience working in or with technology companies, startups, investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, venture capital, or private equity
Experience with fundraising and related documentation/requirements
Pre and post-MBA candidates will be considered
Strong interpersonal and quantitative skills
Demonstrated close attention to detail
Strong writing skills
Preference to working in a team environment and ability to self-start
PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize with strong organizational skills
“Founder-First” mentality
Demonstrated interest in startup/tech community/entrepreneurship/venture capital
Native in Japanese and proficient in English
