<key activities / role and responsibilities>
This position reports to the Help Desk Manager, who in turn reports to the IT Director. As a member of the Japan IT organization, the role works closely with the Cybersecurity and Compliance team to ensure secure and efficient IT operations.
- Serve as the primary IT support contact for ASJP employees, handling user inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for Windows 11, macOS, and company-issued mobile devices.
- Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and account lifecycle processes using Microsoft 365 and Intune.
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Autopilot and Microsoft Intune.
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support to end users.
- Perform IT asset management activities, including device setup, image creation, deployment, replacement, and disposal.
<Mandatory>
・Bilingual Proficiency: JLPT N2 preferred; strong conversational fluency with advanced reading and writing proficiency in both English and Japanese required
・3+ years of experience in IT help desk, desktop support, or end-user technology roles
・Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management and Atlassian Confluence (ServiceDesk familiarity is a plus; Confluence migration experience highly valued)
・Proficiency with Microsoft 365 & Intune (user management, app deployment, compliance policies, Autopilot)
・Strong operating system troubleshooting skills for Windows 11 and macOS, including user profiles, OS configuration, updates, application issues, permissions, and endpoint setup
・Experience with remote support tools for end-user troubleshooting and support, such as RDP, TeamViewer, LogMeIn, or similar
・Proven track record of independently managing ticket queues, meeting SLAs, and tracking ticket volume
・Associate-level degree or certification in IT, or equivalent practical experience
・Must demonstrate a self-starter attitude and a documented history of self-directed learning or skill development
・Comfortable working a flexible shift model with ~50% onsite presence at the ASJP Tokyo headquarters
<Desirable>
・Familiarity with IT service frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, or similar)
・Experience supporting Zoom, Webex, or similar collaboration platforms
・Background in SaaS administration or enterprise software rollout
・Basic exposure to Linux or enterprise mobility management beyond Intune
・JLPT N1 or CEFR C1 proficiency (English/Japanese)
・AWS, Cisco, or infrastructure certifications
・Demonstrated use of AI or automation tools to streamline IT workflows

<必須条件>
・日本語・英語による高いコミュニケーション能力JLPT N2以上推奨
（会話、読解、ライティングともに高いレベル必須）
・ITヘルプデスク、デスクトップサポート、エンドユーザーサポート経験3年以上
・Jira Service ManagementおよびAtlassian Confluenceの実務経験ServiceDesk経験があれば尚可
・Confluence移行経験は高く評価
・Microsoft 365およびIntuneの実務経験ユーザー管理
