Team introduction
Global Business Solutions is a marketing solution, including TikTok For Business, that naturally connects companies and brands with audiences looking for new interests and curiosities to help solve business challenges across the funnel, from awareness to customer acquisition. We help businesses solve business problems across the funnel, from awareness to customer acquisition.
As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Responsibilities
- Provide regular regional/country product data insights to the team
- Connect data reporting to the product priorities
- Design and implement reporting dashboards and the associated data pipeline to deliver insights and enhance the workflows of internal teams
- Engage with data engineers and data product managers to implement user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability
- Work directly with product marketing managers to size potential impact of "problems-to-solve" for our business
- Conduct research on various business processes to uncover bottlenecks and suggest improvements
- Pioneer ways to instrument our processes to easily identify inefficiencies
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Prioritize candidates available ASAP, full-time weekly commitment, minimum 6-month internship required
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau or similar data visualization tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and rapid growth environment
- Passionate about media and/or advertising environment
- Fluency in Japanese and English to engage regional clients and internal teams; Japanese proficiency is required for direct communication with Japanese stakeholders and handling Japan market product operations
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders; excellent relationship building, collaboration, negotiation and influence skills
