Join the team behind Sakana Chat , Sakana Marlin , and Sakana Fugu
Responsible for building the GTM (Go-to-Market) foundation from scratch and taking a hands-on approach to establishing marketing and growth mechanisms.

Our Product Team is on a mission to leverage our proprietary research to conceptualize and launch AI products that defy traditional boundaries. Through our proprietary products including Sakana Chat , Sakana Marlin , and Sakana Fugu , we deliver this value to enterprises and government agencies in Japan and globally.

This position will be the first dedicated Product Marketing and Growth member within the Product Team. You will play a pivotal role in creating the Go-to-Market (GTM) foundation from scratch, working closely with founding members, engineers, and AI researchers while maintaining a hands-on approach to building marketing and growth mechanisms. You will lead the end-to-end GTM strategy, from verbalizing product value to driving market penetration and user acquisition.

Responsibilities

Define product positioning and messaging; translate cutting-edge technology into compelling value propositions that articulate who the product solves problems for, what it replaces, and why it is chosen, while establishing a consistent product brand
Design and execute launch strategies for new features and products; collaborate with product, research, and PR teams to establish success metrics for launches
Take end-to-end ownership of the funnel from acquisition to conversion; lead user acquisition through Web, SEO, advertising, and content, while optimizing landing pages, registration flows, conversion rates, and retention
Utilize analytics tools to continuously and data-drivenly validate and improve key metrics such as traffic, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), and conversion rates
Prepare and maintain demo environments and technical documentation where customers can validate product value, providing prospects with an experience that delivers a tangible “aha” moment
Feed market and customer insights back to the product and research teams to contribute to product roadmap development
Lead team building and hiring aligned with future organizational growth, taking responsibility for strengthening marketing and GTM capabilities
Continuously optimize and scale the self-built marketing and GTM frameworks
Drive seamless collaboration across global teams and markets utilizing both Japanese and English

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product marketing or growth for B2B SaaS, developer tools, or technical AI products (Any job title is welcome; strong emphasis on both messaging construction and numerical funnel/channel/metric management)
Proven track record in product marketing or growth for B2C products
Ability to autonomously drive initiatives in an unestablished, fast-paced startup environment, and present clear hypotheses and insights amidst ambiguity
Deep technical understanding of LLMs and generative AI with the ability to catch up on latest trends and engage in peer-level discussions with engineers and AI researchers; ability to clearly explain and visualize the user value delivered by sophisticated technology
Deep interest and concern for AI ethics and technical philosophy, going beyond surface-level product marketing
Native or professional fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to drive business expansion for both Japanese and global markets
Experience launching a new product category or an unmapped market segment
Experience selling or presenting proposals to corporate decision-makers such as corporate planning, business strategy, research, or finance teams
Hands-on experience with web analytics and marketing tools such as GA4, Amplitude, HubSpot, and Salesforce

Sakana AIでは、自然界から発想を得るユニークな生成AI技術により、世界に先駆ける研究開発を行っています。プロダクトチームでは、独自の研究成果を活かして既存の枠にとらわれないAIプロダクトを構想、市場投入することをミッションとし、Sakana Chat ・Sakana Marlin ・Sakana Fugu をはじめとする自社プロダクトを通じて、その価値を日本および世界の企業や官公庁に届けています。

本ポジションは、プロダクトチームにおける最初のプロダクトマーケティングおよびグロースの専任メンバーです。GTM（Go-to-Market）の基盤をゼロから創り出す役割を担い、創業メンバーやエンジニア、AIリサーチャーと緊密に連携しながら、自ら手を動かしてマーケティングとグロースの仕組みを構築します。プロダクトの価値を言語化して市場へ浸透させ、顧客獲得へと繋げる一連のGTM戦略の立案と実行を主導していただきます。

役割と責任

製品のポジショニングおよびメッセージングを策定する。最先端技術が「誰のどのような課題を解決し、何に代替し、なぜ選ばれるのか」を明確化し、説得力のあるバリュープロポジションを構築しつつ、一貫したプロダクトのブランドとして確立する。
新機能や新プロダクトのローンチ戦略を設計、実行する。プロダクト、研究、広報の各チームと連携し、ローンチの成功指標を策定する。
集客から顧客獲得にいたるファネル全体に責任を持つ。Web、SEO、広告、コンテンツを通じた集客、ランディングページや登録導線の改善、コンバージョンおよび継続率の向上を主導する。
アクセス解析ツールを用いて、流入数、顧客獲得単価、顧客生涯価値、転換率といった重要指標を継続的かつデータドリブンに検証、改善する。
顧客が価値を実証できるデモ環境や技術資料を整備し、見込み顧客が確かな手応えを得られる体験を提供する。
市場や顧客から得たインサイトをプロダクトチームやリサーチャーに還元し、プロダクトロードマップの策定に貢献する。
今後の組織の成長に合わせたチームアップや採用を主導し、マーケティングおよびGTMの体制強化に責任を持つ。
自ら構築したマーケティングおよびGTMの仕組みを継続的に最適化し、スケールさせる。
日本語と英語両方を用いるグローバルなチームおよび市場におけるコラボレーション

応募資格およびスキル

B2B SaaSや開発者向けツール、あるいは技術的なAIプロダクトにおけるプロダクトマーケティングまたはグロースの実務経験 5年以上（職種名は不問。メッセージングの構築と、ファネル、集客チャネル、各種指標といった数字づくりの両面における経験を重視）
ToC プロダクトにおけるプロダクトマーケティングまたはグロースの実務経験確立された型のないカオスな環境での立ち上げを自律的に推進し、曖昧な状況下でも明確な仮説や見立てを示せる能力
LLMおよび生成AIの仕組みや最新トレンドに自らキャッチアップし、エンジニアやAIリサーチャーと対等に議論できる深い技術的知見。また、高度な技術が実現するユーザーへの提供価値をわかりやすく説明・可視化できる能力
表面的なプロダクトマーケティングだけでなく、AI倫理や技術哲学に対する深い興味と関心
日本語と英語を高いレベルで使いこなし、日本およびグローバル市場に向けたビジネス展開を牽引できること
新しいプロダクトカテゴリーや、未開拓の市場領域を立ち上げた経験経営企画、事業戦略、リサーチ、財務といった企業の意思決定者に対する販売や提案の経験
GA4、Amplitude、HubSpot、Salesforceなどのアクセス解析およびマーケティングツールの活用経験
