【業務内容】 （雇入れ直後 ）
本ポジションは、人事（HR）、情報技術（IT）、法務・リスク・コンプライアンス（LRC）を含むコーポレートファンクションに対する戦略的コミュニケーションの責任者として、オリンパスの事業目標の推進とグローバルな評価の保護を担います。各機能のリーダーに対する主要なアドバイザーとして、コミュニケーションのアジェンダを設定し、社内外のチャネルにおけるメッセージの整合性と効果を確保するとともに、グローバルおよび各機能のニーズに応じた戦略のカスタマイズを行います。
本職は、社内外コミュニケーション、従業員エンゲージメントに関する戦略立案と実行を統括し、オリンパスのグローバルブランド方針と整合させつつ、各ステークホルダーグループに適切に適用する役割を担います。IT変革や雇用ブランド（Employer Branding）といった戦略的な事業ニーズを、従業員やその他のステークホルダーにとって明確で魅力的かつ一貫性のあるコミュニケーション体験へと翻訳する重要な役割を果たします。
また、CEO関連のコミュニケーション活動の展開を支援します。さらに、該当する機能領域に関するイシューおよび危機対応コミュニケーションを管理し、メディア対応の機会を見出すとともに、企業戦略と各機能の優先事項の整合を推進します。
本ポジションは、グローバル・ビジネスパートナー（Strategic Communications）のもとに報告し、グローバル・コミュニケーション機能の責任者への直接の報告ラインを持ちます。
具体的には下記です。
・コミュニケーションアジェンダの策定と管理
HR、IT、LRC の各コーポレートファンクションに関する、主に社内向けのコミュニケーションアジェンダ全体を定義し、責任を持って管理します。オリンパスのグローバルコミュニケーションフレームワークに従い、あらゆる種類のコミュニケーションを統括して、事業目標や優先事項と整合させます。
・機能リーダーの第一窓口としての役割 主要な機能責任者に対する主要なコミュニケーションアドバイザーおよび第一連絡窓口として機能します。一貫したメッセージ戦略を定め、機能の優先事項を支援しリーダーの可視性を高めるための経営層向けコミュニケーション機会を特定します。
・グローバルコミュニケーションチーム間での協働 他のグローバルコミュニケーション・ビジネスパートナー（例：GISやChange担当等）と緊密に連携し、社内外で効果の高いコミュニケーション施策を特定・優先化します。組織の戦略的方向性やポジショニングとの整合を確保します。
・グローバルCoEおよび地域統合担当との調整 グローバルCenters of ExcellenceやRegional Integratorsと協働して、グローバル／リージョナルのコミュニケーション施策を実行します。従業員・経営層向けコミュニケーション、ラウンドテーブル、Olympus Exchange イベント、危機対応コミュニケーション、必要に応じてソーシャルメディアや広報活動など、グローバルフレームワークに基づく施策の実行をこれらのチームに指示・統括します。
・成果のモニタリングと継続的改善の推進 コミュニケーションの有効性を評価するためのKPIを設定・管理します。コミュニケーションの影響を継続的に評価し、そのインサイトを活用してコンテンツ、フォーマット、配信チャネルを改善し、変化する事業・オーディエンスのニーズに適応させます。
・変革プロジェクトおよび雇用ブランディング支援 IT変革などのトランスフォーメーションプロジェクトや、雇用ブランディング（HRキャンペーン等）におけるコミュニケーション代表として参画します。ブランドキャンペーンやガイドラインの管理、イシューおよび危機対応コミュニケーションを推進し、コーポレートファンクションのグローバルな評価とポジショニングを形成します。
・ファンクション別コミュニケーション予算の統括 コーポレートファンクションのコミュニケーション予算を管理し、グローバルの優先事項との整合性を保ちながら、資源を効率的に活用することを担います。

【Role Overview】
This role serves as the strategic communications lead for the Corporate Functions, including Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), and Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC), advancing Olympus’ business objectives and protecting its global reputation. As the primary advisor to functional leaders, the role is responsible for setting the communications agenda, ensuring aligned and impactful messaging across internal and external channels, and tailoring strategies to meet global and functional needs.
The position oversees strategy and execution across internal and external communications, employee engagement, ensuring consistency with Olympus’ global brand direction while adapting communications to relevant stakeholder groups. It plays a critical role in translating strategic business needs, such as IT transformation or employer branding, into clear, engaging, and consistent communication experiences for employees and other stakeholders.
The role supports the rollout of CEO related communications activity.
The role also manages issue and crisis communications falling into those functional segments, identifies media opportunities and drives alignment between company strategy and functional priorities.
The role reports into the global Business Partner Strategic Communications, a direct report to the global Communications Function lead.
【Primary Duties & Responsibilities】
・Determine and Own the Communication Agenda: Define and own the entire, primarily internal communication agenda for the HR, IT, and LRC corporate functions. Ensure alignment with business objectives and priorities, orchestrating all types of communications according to Olympus’ global communications frameworks.
・Serve as the First Point of Contact for Functional Leaders: Act as the primary communications advisor and first point of contact for key function heads. Define cohesive messaging strategies and identify executive communication opportunities to support functional priorities and enhance leadership visibility.
・Collaborate Across Global Communications Teams: Work closely with other Global Communications Business Partners (e.g., for GIS or Change) to identify and prioritize impactful internal and external communication activities. Ensure alignment with the strategic direction and positioning of the organization.
・Coordinate with Global Centers of Excellence: Collaborate with the Global Centers of Excellence and Regional Integrators to implement global or regional communication activities. Direct these teams on executing initiatives based on global frameworks, including employee and leadership communications, round tables, Olympus Exchange events, crisis communications, and, where applicable, social media and public relations.
・Monitor Success and Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish and manage KPIs to evaluate communication effectiveness. Continuously assess communication impact and use insights to improve content, formats, and delivery channels in line with evolving business and audience needs.
・Support Transformational and Employer Branding Projects: Act as the communications representative in transformational projects (e.g., IT transformation) and employer branding initiatives (e.g., HR campaigns). Manage brand campaigns and guidelines, as well as issue and crisis communications, to shape the global reputation and positioning of the corporate functions.
・Oversee Functional Communications Budget: Manage the communications budget for the corporate functions, ensuring alignment with global priorities and efficient use of resources.

学歴:
・コミュニケーション、パブリックリレーションズ、ジャーナリズム、ビジネス、経済学、または関連分野の大学学位（学士）。修士号等の上位学位があると望ましい。

【Qualifications】
Education:
・University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred.

Experience:
・A minimum of 10 years’ experience in communications, ideally in medtech and an international environment.
・A minimum of 3 years of track-proven leadership experience, ideally in the area of communications.
