Job Overview / 業務概要
We are hiring for a Securities Services Operations role within Citi Japan.
This position plays a key role in supporting the settlement, clearing, and investigation of securities transactions within a global financial institution.
While candidates with financial industry experience are welcomed, we also encourage applications from individuals who are motivated to build their expertise in securities operations. You will develop your skills through structured training and on-the-job experience, working closely with team members and gradually taking ownership of assigned processes.

About the Team / 部署紹介
Citi provides custody and securities services to institutional clients globally across more than 100 markets.
In Japan, the Custody Operations team supports both domestic and global clients by delivering settlement, safekeeping, asset servicing, and client-related operations.
シティのカストディ業務部は、国内外の金融機関・機関投資家に対して、証券保管・決済・資産管理サービスを提供しています。
主な業務は以下の通りです：
- 証券・資金決済業務
- アセットサービス（配当・利金・コーポレートアクション対応）
- 顧客対応および口座管理業務
Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容
- Perform daily settlement and reconciliation activities accurately and on time
（日々の証券・資金決済および照合業務を正確かつ期限内に実行）
- Investigate and resolve transaction issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
（取引不整合や問題発生時の調査および関係部署との連携対応）
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
（内部統制および規制要件に基づく業務遂行）
- Support preparation of internal and client reporting
（社内および顧客向けレポート作成サポート）
- Gradually take ownership of assigned processes and contribute to team objectives
（担当業務の理解・習得後、主体的に業務を推進）
- Contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives
（業務改善・効率化に向けた提案・参画）
Qualifications / 応募要件
Basic Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Basic PC skills (MS Excel, Word, etc.)
- Native-level Japanese and basic English reading comprehension
- 3-10 years job experience
Preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience in financial services operations (banking, securities, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of securities, accounting, or financial products

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under time constraints in a deadline-driven environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment
- Control-oriented mindset and awareness of operational risk
