TSMCジャパン3DIC研究開発センター (以下「JRDC」)は、専業ファウンドリビジネスモデルの先駆者であるTaiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (以下「TSMC」)の完全子会社で、茨城県つくば市に位置しています。JRDCは、TSMCがクリーンルームを備えた研究開発施設として初めて台湾以外に設立した拠点で、日本のパートナー企業とともに、次世代の3次元集積化技術や高度なパッケージング技術の研究を推進しています。これらの技術により、コンピューティング性能の向上や多機能化を実現するシステムレベルの革新が実現され、従来のトランジスタサイズの縮小に加え、半導体技術を前進させる新たな道が開かれます。
TSMCは、2021年3月に子会社JRDCを設立し、その後、産総研つくばセンター内にクリーンルーム施設の建設を進み、2022年6月にクリーンルームが竣工しました。JRDCは、半導体の材料や装置に強みを持つ日本のパートナーや国内の研究機関及び大学と連携しながら、最先端の3D IC実装のための材料に関する研究開発を支援していきます。
ミッション
お客様のイノベーションを解き放つために、生成AI向け半導体モジュールに不可欠なCoWoS®技術を含む高度な半導体パッケージング(3D IC)技術の研究開発を推進すること。

仕事の内容
【職務内容】（以下のいずれかの業務を担当いただきます）
1. クオリティー エンジニア（QRラボ）
2. 熱機械材料特性評価 エンジニア（QRラボ）

1. クオリティー エンジニア
TSMC本社、サプライヤーと密接に連携し、
TSMCにおけるサプライヤーフォロー活動をサポートし、TSMCの先端パッケージの開発と量産活動に貢献する。
・本社品質管理部門やサプライヤーと密接に連携し、材料およびプロセスの品質管理活動に貢献し、TSMCの先端パッケージの開発活動に貢献する。
・分析機器の管理者と協力し、定期的なメンテナンス、キャリブレーション、
および必要に応じたトラブルシューティングを行い、分析機器の最適な性能を確保します。
・すべての実験室活動において安全プロトコルおよび規制の遵守を確保します。
上記以外にも、必要に応じてその他の業務の対応を行って頂きます。
1.【Quality Engineer】
・Communicating with TSMC HQ and Supplier, follow up TSMC’s supplier collaboration activity and contribute to TSMC’s advanced package technology development and the mass production.
・Communicating with TSMC HQ Quality team, contribute to TSMC’s advanced package technology development activity
・Communicating with Analytical tool sponsor in TSMC, contribute documentation of tool maintenance and calibration regularly and do trouble shooting depending on the situation.

2. 熱機械材料特性評価 エンジニア（QRラボ）
・DMA、TMA、TGA、DSC、レオメーター、および引張試験機を使用して材料の熱機械特性を評価し、熱膨張率、弾性率、粘度などの特性を測定します。
・半導体パッケージの物理分析を行い、断面観察のための試料準備や走査型電子顕微鏡（SEM）を用いた観察を含みます。
・プロセスおよび材料の完全性を調査し、欠陥分析手法および解決策の開発に貢献します。
・分析機器の管理者として、定期的なメンテナンス、キャリブレーション、および必要に応じたトラブルシューティングを行い、最適な性能を確保します。
・品質管理部門やサプライヤーと密接に連携し、つくば施設での材料およびプロセスの品質管理活動に貢献し、結果を報告します。TSMCの先端パッケージの量産活動に寄与します。
・本社部門とオープンなコミュニケーションを維持し、分析結果、機器の状態、品質管理活動についての最新情報を提供します。
・材料特性評価能力を向上させるための新しい分析技術および手法の開発と実施に貢献します。
・すべての実験室活動において安全プロトコルおよび規制の遵守を確保します。

2.Thermomechanical material characterization Engineer
・Perform thermo-mechanical characterization of materials using DMA, TMA, TGA, DSC, Rheometer, and Tensile tools to evaluate properties such as thermal expansion, modulus, and viscosity.
・Conduct physical analysis of semiconductor packages, including sample preparation for cross-sectional observation and observation using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
・Investigate process and material integrity, contributing to the development of defect analysis methodologies and solutions.
・Serve as the owner of analytical instruments, performing routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting as needed to ensure optimal performance.
・Collaborate closely with the quality management department and suppliers, reporting findings and contributing to quality control efforts for materials and processes at the Tsukuba facility.
・Maintain open communication with HQ departments, providing updates on analysis results, equipment status, and quality management activities.
・Contribute to the development and implementation of new analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance materials characterization capabilities.
・Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all laboratory activities.

・Bachelor's degree or higher
・Supplier Quality Engineering skills
・Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
with cross-functional teams.
・Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
in a fast-paced environment.
・Experience with quality management systems and processes is a plus.
・Experience with receiving supplier audit from end customer
2. 熱機械材料特性評価 エンジニア（QRラボ）
・学士、修士、または博士の学位を保有し、“主体的”に仕事に取り組んだ経験をお持ちの方
・DMA、TMA、TGA、DSC、レオメーター、引張試験を含む熱機械材料特性評価技術における豊富な経験。
・断面観察のための試料調製技術に習熟し、SEM分析の経験。
・分析機器と材料特性評価に関連する技術的な問題をトラブルシューティングし、解決する能力を持つ強力な分析能力と問題解決能力。
・優れたコミュニケーション能力と、クロスファンクショナルチームと効果的に協力する能力。
・要求が目まぐるしく変化する環境下での複数のタスクと優先事項を管理する能力。（品質管理システムとプロセスの経験があれば尚良し）
・被サプライヤー監査対応経験
・Bachelor's degree or higher.
・Extensive experience in thermo-mechanical materials characterization techniques, including DMA, TMA, TGA, DSC, Rheometer, and Tensile testing.
・Proficiency in sample preparation techniques for cross-sectional observation and experience with SEM analysis.
・Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to analytical instruments and materials characterization.
・Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
・Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
・Experience with quality management systems and processes is a plus.
