Training Manager

Space operations are accelerating—operational demands, readiness requirements, and partner‑nation collaboration are evolving faster than ever. To stay ahead, USSF needs a structured, adaptive, and mission‑ready training program that ensures personnel are prepared to execute C2, integrate space power, and operate alongside Japanese partners. The client needs an expert like you who can translate operational requirements, exercise lessons, and service‑level guidance into rigorous, repeatable, and high‑impact training.
As a Training Manager, you’ll serve as the focal point for building, managing, and executing Space Force Japan’s training enterprise. You’ll track Air Force (AF) and U.S. Space Force (USSF) readiness standards, design space‑focused education solutions, and support the development of curricula that strengthens interoperability between SFJ personnel and Japanese counterparts. You’ll address capability gaps revealed during theater exercises and real‑world operations, ensuring training evolves at the same pace as mission needs.
You’ll collaborate closely with Space Forces leadership, the Training and Exercise section, USINDOPACOM components, and internal and external partners to integrate validated lessons learned into future training cycles. You’ll help shape unit readiness, improve staff alignment to operational doctrine and C2 processes, and ensure training prepares personnel for the unique demands of the Indo‑Pacific theater.

You Have:

4+ years of experience managing unit training programs or readiness tracking processes

Experience designing, developing, or coordinating training curricula aligned to operational requirements

Experience applying DAF or USSF training standards, readiness guidance, or mandatory tracking requirements

Ability to analyze exercise or operational assessment data and convert findings into training solutions

Ability to develop and deliver training on doctrine, command and control (C2) concepts, or staff processes
-
Ability to coordinate across joint, service, or multinational partners to ensure training alignment and interoperability
-
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

TS/SCI clearance

HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:

Experience with the space domain to enable seamless cross‑support with exercise planning

Experience supporting theater‑level exercises or integrating training objectives into JELC processes

Experience collaborating with allied partners, particularly Japan, on training or operational initiatives

Experience conducting post‑exercise analysis or contributing to lesson‑learned processes
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
