Description and Requirements

ISG eCommerce Technical Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking enthusiastic, career-focused professionals to join our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) eCommerce Inbound Sales Team at [Insert Location]. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective data center customers. Your expertise in configuration support will ensure customer solution requirements are met with precision and excellence. This role involves engaging with customers through phone, email, and chat interactions to deliver outstanding support and solutions.

The ideal candidate is goal-driven, articulate, and possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. You thrive on achieving high-performance targets and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. A foundational understanding of data center infrastructure—such as server configuration, network topology, and storage architecture—is essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage configuration support requests from inbound sales calls and provide accurate, tailored quotes for server and storage solutions.
Engage in inbound and outbound sales calls, as well as chat interactions, to drive revenue, margin performance, and exceptional customer satisfaction (CX).
Assist the eCommerce telesales team in qualifying customer requirements via phone and email.
Support the local ISG eCommerce business by identifying cross-sell opportunities and generating leads in collaboration with IDG eCommerce telesales agents.
Drive profitable revenue growth across the ISG eCommerce server and storage portfolio.
Understand customer datacenter environments and use solution-based selling to address customer pain points and workload needs.
Collaborate with inbound, outbound, and channel sales teams to achieve shared revenue and profit goals, including pipeline follow-up and qualification.
Track and report weekly customer interactions, target attainment, and provide quarterly performance updates, forecasting, and business planning.
Demonstrate digital proficiency and a willingness to enhance your skills in eCommerce technology.

Position Requirements

Required: 2-3 years of proven experience in inbound technical support, with strong customer communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred:

A passion for IT products and eagerness to learn about data center technologies.
Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive approach to work.
Excellent time-management skills, resilience under pressure, and adaptability to change.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
