A team called Platform and Cloud services, which is part of the wider Cloud Services team, looks after various services such as public/private cloud, compute (Linux/Windows) and core infra services. This team provides support for the products using a Follow the Sun Model both during the week and at weekends and implement projects and upgrades.

Cloud Servicesチームの一部であるPlatform and Cloud servicesと呼ばれるチームは、パブリック/プライベートクラウド、コンピューティング (Linux/Windows) 、コアインフラサービスなどのさまざまなサービスを担当している。このチームは、平日と週末の両方でFollow the Sun Modelを使用して製品のサポートを提供し、プロジェクトとアップグレードを実装します。

Responsibilities：

Key Responsibilities includes;

Build, test and deliver new services, improvement on the compute platform, and adhering Nomura standard policy and guideline.
Provide onsite L2/L3 support to monitor and work on service restoration of compute platform deployed globally when incident takes place, under Follow-the-Sun support model or provide on-call support over weekend as necessary.
Engage with application teams throughout the lifecycle to provide reliable and scalable compute platform and services.
Identify opportunity to automate manual steps or areas for improvement to remediate or mitigate operational risks and manage the compute platform effectively.
Collaboratively work with Engineering function and other IT teams to discuss and agree on the enhancement and improvement to address challenges or issues.
Contribute on documenting operational run books and give coaching to team members as required.

運用リスクを修正または軽減し、コンピューティングプラットフォームを効果的に管理するために、手動の手順を自動化する機会または改善すべき領域を特定します。
エンジニアリング機能や他のITチームと協力して、課題や問題に対処するための機能強化と改善について議論し、合意する。
運用ランブックの文書化に貢献し、必要に応じてチームメンバーにコーチングを提供する。

Requirements

Requirements：

＜Skills & Experience Mandatory／スキルと必須経験＞

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
4+ years of experience on Windows 2012/2019/2022/2025 OS support- troubleshooting issues, disk management, performance tuning, underlying hardware break fix, and firmware upgrades.
2+ years of experience on managing Microsoft - Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Microsoft - SCCM CB
Microsoft Windows OS Patching /Vulnerability management
Sound team players to collaborate with various colleagues across regions to deliver goals together.
Adhere to SRE principles to drive automation and service reliability
英語の口頭および書面によるコミュニケーション能力。
4年以上のWindows 2012/2019/2022/2025 OSサポート経験-問題のトラブルシューティング、ディスク管理、パフォーマンスチューニング、基盤となるハードウェアの故障修理、ファームウェアアップグレード。
2年以上のMicrosoft-Active Directory、グループポリシーオブジェクト、DNS、DHCP、IIS、Microsoft-SCCM CBの管理経験
Microsoft Windows OSのパッチ適用/脆弱性管理
地域を越えて様々な仲間と協力し、共に目標を達成するための健全なチームプレーヤー。
SREの原則に従って、自動化とサービスの信頼性を推進する

＜Preferred／推奨＞

ESXi, vCenter, vRealize Operations Manager to build the highly resilient server virtualization platform and manage the environment effectively using the tools CLI and vRealize Operations.
Good working knowledge in common coding language Python or PowerShell
Practical knowledge and skills on managing Configuration Management tools, Ansible or Terraform.
Hardware knowledge on HP / Cisco UCS
Pratical experience on Gitlab/Rancher/Docker.
Japanese language skills at conversational level
ESXi、vCenter、vRealize Operations Manager:耐障害性に優れたサーバ仮想化プラットフォームを構築し、CLIおよびvRealize Operationsツールを使用して環境を効果的に管理します。
一般的なコーディング言語であるPythonまたはPowerShellに関する十分な実務知識
構成管理ツール (AnsibleまたはTerraform) の管理に関する実践的な知識とスキル。
HP/Cisco UCSに関するハードウェア知識
