To stay ahead, joint, coalition and partner nation forces must integrate space power seamlessly into theater‑level planning and exercise environments. Space Force needs an expert like you who can translate complex operational realities into synchronized, repeatable, and high‑impact exercise design and execution.
As a Space Warfare Exercise Planner, you’ll bring extensive operational experience and space domain expertise to lead the integration of space effects throughout the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC). You’ll develop theater‑level scenarios, synchronize space capabilities with joint and allied partners, and ensure exercise constructs accurately reflect Space Force concepts, threats, and mission needs.
You’ll guide the development of Master Scenario Event Lists (MSELs), coordinate across JELC planning groups and working groups, and help identify operational capability gaps in space‑integrated Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I). You’ll collaborate regularly with USINDOPACOM, SFJ, Space Force Deltas, allies and partners to embed “Allied by Design” principles into multilateral exercises and ensure space power remains fully integrated across joint mission threads.

You Have:

3+ years of experience in Space Electronic Warfare (SEW) operations
-
Experience supporting exercise design, operational planning, or JELC‑aligned processes
-
Knowledge of the United States Space Force (USSF)

Ability to leverage space effects expertise during planning conferences, rehearsals, or assessments

Ability to coordinate across combatant command, service, and allied planning groups to develop or integrate space‑focused scenario content, objectives, or MSELs
-
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

TS/SCI clearance
-
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:

Experience with Satellite Communications (SATCOM)

Experience with Orbital Warfare (OW) concepts and tactical operations

Experience integrating Space Domain Awareness (SDA) data into theater‑level plans

Experience supporting allied or multilateral exercise planning with partners such as Japan, Australia, or South Korea

Experience participating in post‑exercise assessments or contributing to After‑Action Reports (AARs)

Experience providing training or surge support to education or readiness programs
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
