About the Department:
The Industrial Autonomy & Engineering (IA&E) unit drives digital transformation by delivering AI-enabled, software-defined, and secure intelligent products that enhance customer experience and performance.
We collaborate with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to advance Software-Defined Vehicles using AI, IoT, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies. Recognized globally as industry leaders, we combine strong local expertise with TCS’s global capabilities to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions shaping the future of mobility.
About the Role:
Join a global team building next-generation cloud-native data platforms for leading automotive OEMs. Work with cutting-edge technologies across Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and GenAI, enabling real-time insights and data-driven transformation in the mobility space.
What You’ll Do:
Design and build scalable cloud data platforms for large-scale automotive datasets
Develop data pipelines, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch)
Work with modern technologies: AWS/Azure, Databricks/Snowflake, Kafka, Python, Spark
Contribute to AI/GenAI use cases (LLMs, RAG, advanced analytics)
Collaborate with global teams in an onsite-offshore delivery model

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Cloud & Data Engineering / Architecture
Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, Data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines
Exposure to Databricks / Snowflake / Spark / Python / SQL
Understanding of AI/ML or GenAI technologies (LLM, MLOps, etc.)
Japanese (Business level) and English (working proficiency)
Nice to Have:
Experience in automotive / mobility data domain (connected vehicles, SDV, telemetry)
Knowledge of DataOps / DevOps / CI-CD / streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
Certifications (AWS, Databricks, etc.)
