About the Team:
The ADAS Function & Algorithm team develops and integrates camera perception components and collaborates closely with JOEM and third‑party suppliers. The team drives change management, problem resolution, and supports cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver safe and reliable ADAS features. It operates in a fast‑paced environment requiring strong technical alignment and communication.
What you can look forward to as Functions Development Engineer:
Lead application development for camera perception software components delivered as Component‑out‑of‑Context (CooC)
Act as technical interface between JOEM, internal teams, and 3rd‑party suppliers
Facilitate change management, including DRBFM analysis and impact assessment on ADAS functions (AEB, ACC, RSA)
Estimate development effort and lead time for required changes
Lead problem‑resolution activities with internal/external stakeholders and escalate when needed
Manage technical inquiries and responses across stakeholders
Support project management in scheduling, progress tracking, and issue management
Coordinate internal meetings and participate in external technical discussions
Your Profile as Functions Development Engineer:
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent with 6–7 years of software development / requirements engineering experience
Experience with ADAS camera perception software (e.g., Mobileye)
Experience in ADAS component development
Tier‑1 or JOEM development / collaboration experience
Skills: Requirements Engineering (DOORS), Verification, Project Management; fluent Japanese & English
Knowledge: CAN/CAN‑FD/Ethernet, Automotive Standards & Regulations, Automotive SPICE, AUTOSAR, Matlab/Simulink, Vector tools
