About the Team:
ADAS Japan is development department for ADAS technology which is part of Automated Driving in ZF technology domain and integrated into vehicles.
The role of engineering project manager is responsible for overall coordinator to ensure the project progresses smoothly and delivers on time. While technical tasks are entrusted to the project team, the primary responsibilities include "planning," "management," and "coordination" to achieve the overall goals of the team.
What you can look forward to Engineering Project Manager - ADAS Project:
Definition, planning and coordination of the complete technical product development in alignment with Japanese OEMs
Evaluation and assignment of work packages for cross-functional teams in cooperation with the Global Project Stakeholders
Guidance and Leadership role in Technical negotiations with clients and partner companies
Identifying and mitigating technical and scheduling risks
Your profile as Engineering Project Manager - ADAS Project:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or software engineering
At least 5 years of experience on Automotive ECUs or embedded software engineering.
Ability to communicate at business level in both Japanese and English
Good understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN / CAN-FD / Ethernet), embedded system engineering, general automotive standards (Automotive SPICE, AutoSar, UDS)
Ability to communicate technical concepts in both Japanese and English. German is a plus.
Powerful sense of responsibility and teamwork
Prefer to have some experience on these field; understanding of vehicle control systems (e.g., ACC, LDW, AEB), sensor technologies (LiDAR, cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors), knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level), familiarity with requirements management and issue resolution tool
