Responsibilities
Team Introduction
Lemon8 is a lifestyle information community where users can post image and video contents. Lemon8 offers practical and attractive content from a wide variety of genres such as beauty, fashion, gourmet, travel, and living. Users can find a free, diverse, and life-size lifestyle that matches their interests, or a life longing that is one step ahead of them.
Responsibilities
1. Use methods such as user interviews and data analysis to gain a deep understanding of the content ecosystem, and set medium- to long-term goals based on the characteristics of the Japanese market and the needs of target users.
2. Leverage strong content sense and stay attuned to trending topics both inside and outside the app to expand authentic, high-quality UGC content and contribute to building a vibrant UGC community.
3. Bring knowledge of the Japanese creator market, understand the appeals of creators and KOLs, and design appropriate strategies to support creator growth while nurturing flagship creators who represent Lemon8.
4. Collaborate closely with Product, UG, and Marketing teams, utilizing buzz content, integrated marketing, and advertising operations to drive Lemon8’s growth, awareness, and reputation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Strategic thinker with strong logical reasoning skills, capable of developing strategies through data and content analysis
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities; able to think positively and flexibly, work independently, or lead a team in setting and breaking down goals
- Highly sensitive to content trends, with a solid understanding of Japanese social media operations and app growth methodologies
- 3+ years of professional experience in creator strategy, content operations, or marketing strategy within a content platform or social media industry
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and Chinese. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese is mandatory for managing stakeholders in Chinese-speaking markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong content creation skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing social media accounts on any platform.
