ABOUT THIS ROLE
This position is a professional responsible for driving sales and promoting company products and services within a defined geographic corridor or territory (market). This role focuses on building relationships with clients (the community), identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets, while ensuring levels of customer satisfaction.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES-
Market & Migrant Intelligence

Study the corridor’s migrant worker landscape in Japan (technical interns, skilled workers, students, professionals).

Analyze demographic trends, remittance behavior, seasonality, and regional concentration.

Identify new growth segments and emerging opportunities by analyzing changes in visa categories, employment sectors, geographic concentration, and income levels among the corridor migrants in Japan

Competitive & Product Analysis
-
Monitor competitors’ pricing, product offerings, promotions, and distribution channels.

Benchmark competitor strengths and weaknesses.
-
Provide actionable insights to improve corridor competitiveness.

Corridor Strategy & Forecasting
-
Work with the sales manager and develop monthly, quarterly and corridor business plans.

Work with sales team and build corridor volume and forecasts.
-
Track performance against the forecast and recommend corrective actions.

Work with Revenue manager to monitor FX margin performance.

Sales Mobilization & Execution
-
Coordinate with the corridor sales team and field promoters.

Design and execute corridor-specific campaigns.
-
Drive customer acquisition and performance programs targeting the communities.

Ensure alignment between Japan operations and corridor payout network.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
-
Prepare weekly and monthly corridor performance dashboards.

Track KPIs: transaction volume, revenue, market share, active customers.

Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to management

Partnership & Community Engagement
-
Build relationships with the corridor associations, community leaders, and employers.

Identify referral partnerships and community-based marketing opportunities.

Educate and support digital adoption initiatives within the corridor community.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS-
Able to converse fluently in English, Japanese, and native language.

At least (2) years of experience in money transfer or sales areas.

Education background of bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customers/partners.

Strong sales capability with a clear understanding of how to acquire and convert customers to transact through both brick-and-mortar locations and digital channels.

In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry.

Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day.

Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people professionally and confidently.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) or CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.

Excellent verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential customers.

Demonstrated and proven sales results.
