For one of our client based in Japan, we are looking for an Operations Readiness Lead Engineering services.
Job Description

Reviewing FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed design documents from an operational perspective.

Developing maintenance and integrity programs for the new Phase II modules.

Acting as the bridge between the Construction/Fabrication teams in China and the eventual Operations team in Canada.

Ensuring all Asset Management data (CMMS) is accurately captured during the fabrication process.

Search for candidates who have transitioned from "Big Oil" operators to consultancy or EPC roles.

Prioritize those who have worked on Canadian or Australian LNG projects (similar regulatory/technical environments).

Highlight any experience with JGC or Fluor in the candidate's history.
Qualifications

Operating Background (Mandatory): Must have worked for a major Oil & Gas / LNG "Owner" or "Operator" (e.g., Shell, PETRONAS, ExxonMobil, Woodside).

Key Expertise: * Production & Operations: Deep understanding of LNG plant flow, startup/shutdown procedures, and production optimization.

Asset Management: Experience in maintenance strategy, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and lifecycle management.

EPC Exposure: Highly preferred. The candidate must understand how to translate operational needs into engineering requirements during the design/fabrication phase.

Specific Focus (OR&A): Knowledge of Operations Readiness & Assurance. This person will ensure that what JGC builds in the yard is actually "ready to run" when it arrives in Canada.

Familiarity with Brownfield integration (working on a new phase while an existing phase is live).
