仕事内容:
As an English instructor, you will help children develop their English skills in a fun, positive, and engaging environment.
- Our students currently range from 4 years old to adults.
- Many of our students have advanced English skills, while an increasing number are beginners.
- You will play an important role in helping beginners feel, “This is fun!” and confidently immerse themselves in an English-speaking environment.
- Our teaching team consists exclusively of international teachers, returnees, and teachers with overseas study experience. English is the working language, so you can maintain and further develop your English skills while living in Japan.
- Many of our students attend or have graduated from international schools, or have grown up with English at home. Although we are a community-based English school, we have an international school-like atmosphere and offer a highly immersive English environment that is quite different from a typical English conversation school.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering English lessons
- Providing individualized support to help students improve their English
- Monitoring students’ progress and providing feedback during lessons
- Planning and running English-related events
- Communicating with parents and reporting on students’ learning progress

Required Qualifications
- A strong understanding of English and the ability to teach it effectively
- Fluent English proficiency. As many of our students speak English at a near-native level, if you're a non-native speaker of English, EIKEN Pre-1 or above and/or a TOEIC score of 900 or higher is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with both students and parents

Required Qualifications
- Native-level English proficiency and the ability to create a naturally immersive English environment
- Knowledge of programming, particularly Scratch AND Python, and the ability to teach these skills effectively to children
- Confidence and experience leading lively, engaging classes for young learners
- Ability to independently plan and deliver lessons without relying on a translator, assistant, or timekeeper
- Ability to create thoughtful lesson plans and take ownership of students’ learning and progress
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Professional, reliable, patient, and well-organized
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teachers
- Genuine interest in improving teaching practices and supporting student success
- Availability to teach every week
- Valid visa status permitting employment at a private school in Japan
(Working Holiday Visa, Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services Visa, Student Visa with work permission, or Permanent Residency)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching programming, STEAM, Minecraft, or project-based learning
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Japanese language ability is a plus, particularly for communicating with parents
- Residence within approximately 40 minutes of Chuo Ward, Osaka City, by train
