Responsibilities:
The Embedded / Instrumentation Software Engineer will develop software that enables control, communication, and data acquisition for Quantum Control Systems. This includes implementing embedded software components and instrumentation-level functionality that interface with FPGA, RF, and other hardware subsystems. The role requires close collaboration with hardware and system engineers to ensure cohesive system behavior and performance. The engineer will optimize software for real-time operation, focusing on latency, throughput, and reliability in precision measurement environments. Responsibilities also include system bring-up, debugging, and validation in laboratory settings, as well as contributing to the design of scalable and maintainable software architectures for next-generation platforms.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Business-level Japanese

Experience in embedded software development

Experience with hardware/software integration and debugging

Knowledge of real-time systems, device drivers, or low-level programming
