Key responsibilities of Role:
Responsible for designing and implementing mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants to achieve the plant and production goals of the organization.
- Lead to planning of investment, modification and renovation of plant / production facilities.
- Coordinate with global investment team to get the P&E budget allocation and release timely.
- Coordinate the P&E investment process with site manager to ensure they deliver the targets.
- Coordinate reviews on project approval and post investment return.
- Support key strategic expansion project preparation work.
- Provide report to Asia Pacific or Global team for budget spending control.
- Optimization and modification of mechanical process conditions for equipment reliability, sustainability,productivity improvement and preventive maintenance.
- Design and project management and cost management of the above-mentioned plan.
- Mechanical information management on maintenance manufacturing technology and technical know-how.
- Exchanging technical information and global communication with overseas counterparts.
- Lead continuous process improvement regarding to EHSS, equipment reliability, capacity.

Business Experience:
- At least 5-year working experience of maintenance and process engineering in plastic / chemical plant or machine maker
- Experience of working in a global / Asia pacific scale project as an electrical / mechanical engineer
- Experience in weak mechanical field, CAD operation, Electrical Equipment Control and investment project are preferable
- Experience in Mechanical facility as mechanical chief engineer and electric energy manager can be also a good asset.
- Experience with statistical methods (Six Sigma) and related tools
Educational background:
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Language:
- Native Level in Japanese
- Fluent in English; excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
Skills & Competency:
- Strong computer skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal / communication skill and team play spirit
- Focuses on speed and quality, willing to set a challenging target, and show accountability

- Energy and passion for excellence
- Positive and open mind communication with boundary-less-fashion
- Mechanical skill set (e.g., mechanical design, material mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics)
- PLC-related skill set (PLC programming, control panel design, sequence control knowledge and experience)
Employment Status :Regular full-time employee
Working hours: Working Hour : 9:00 – 17:30 (7.5 hours / 1 hour lunch break)
Annual Salary & Incentiv： JPY 6.0 MM – JPY 10.0 MM
∟plus Incentive (Annual Salary x Robust 0% / Target 15% / Stretch 27%)
Flex time: Core time : 10:00 – 15:30
Holiday： Annual 119 Days (Sat. , Sun.)
Annual leaves：Min. 11 days up to Max. 20 days per year
Retirement Allowance：Defined Contribution & Cash Balance Plan
