本ポジションは、エレクトリフィケーション事業本部、配電ソリューション事業部のProject Management Officeに所属し、営業、エンジニアリング、サプライチェーン、サービス、ファイナンス、およびグローバル・リージョナルチームと密接に連携します。
主な業務内容

プロジェクトオペレーションにおける継続的改善施策を推進し、プロジェクトパフォーマンス、業務効率および顧客満足度の向上を実現

プロジェクトポートフォリオ全体が、会社の方針、ガバナンス要件および業界のベストプラクティスに沿って運営されることを確保

プロジェクトマネージャーおよびプロジェクト支援メンバーを含むプロジェクト実行組織を統括し、人材育成と組織強化を推進

定期的なプロジェクトレビューを通じて進捗、収益性、リスクおよび契約履行状況を管理し、必要な是正措置を主導

プロジェクトポートフォリオの収益管理、リソース計画、予実管理およびリスクマネジメントを実施

応募資格
必須要件

工学系（電気、機械、制御、情報等）または関連分野における学士号または高専専攻科卒業
-
チームマネジメント、人材育成およびパフォーマンス管理における3年以上の経験
-
プロジェクトマネジメント、プロジェクトオペレーション、エンジニアリング、オートメーション、電力、産業機器、インフラ関連業界における5年以上の実務経験
-
複雑かつ大規模なプロジェクトのマネジメント経験
-
Project Manager、Senior Project Manager、Project Operations Managerまたは同等ポジションでのマネジメント経験
-
プロジェクトポートフォリオ管理、契約管理、リスク管理、変更管理および収益管理の経験
-
プロジェクトライフサイクル管理およびプロジェクトガバナンスに関する深い知識
-
SAP、Microsoft Project、Power BI、Microsoft 365などの業務システム利用経験

日本語（日本語能力試験1級または同等）

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead all local project execution activities and ensure the successful delivery of project portfolios in terms of safety, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will drive operational excellence, strengthen project governance, and develop a high-performing Project Execution team while ensuring compliance with ABB policies, procedures, and best practices.
The work model for the role is Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Project Management Office, Electrification Distribution solutions in Japan. Main stakeholders include Customers, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, Finance, and Regional Project Operations teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across Project Operations to enhance project performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Ensuring that the portfolio of projects is managed consistently in accordance with ABB policies, governance requirements, and industry best practices.
-
Overseeing and developing the local Project Execution team, including Project Managers and project support functions, while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
-
Monitoring project execution performance through regular project reviews, ensuring contract fulfillment, risk mitigation, and achievement of financial and operational targets.
-
Managing project portfolio profitability, resource allocation, forecasting, and risk management activities.
-
Supporting the resolution of complex project issues and approving project deviations where appropriate.
-
Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and long-term business growth.

Driving standardization and continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Mimimum 3 years of experience in strong people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, and performance management.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, Project Operations, Engineering, Automation, Electrification, Industrial Technology, Infrastructure, or a related industry.
-
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in a customer-facing environment.
-
Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
-
Demonstrated success in project portfolio management, contract management, risk management, change management, and financial performance management.
-
Solid understanding of project governance frameworks, project lifecycle management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
-
Proficiency with project management and business systems such as SAP, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification is highly preferred.
-
Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
-
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
-
JLPT N1 in Japanese and intermediate ;evel English communication skills, both written and spoken.

At least 5 years of woking experience in Japan
-
Valid work authorization to work in Japan.
