* Applicant who has been employed by Hokkaido University from January 1, 2021 (any position, including Part-
time Lecture, TA, TF, RA and Short-term Support Assistant, etc.) should provide full details of your employment
history.
(2) List of academic accomplishments
(3) A copy of five major publications
(4) Summary of past and current research (about 2,000 words; figures and tables may be included.)
(5) Statement of research and education goals upon appointment (about 2,000 words; figures and tables may be
included.)
(6) A list of two references (including the names, affiliations, phone numbers and e-mail addresses)
9. Application Deadline

10. Salary
Determined in accordance with the National University Corporation Hokkaido University Salary Rules for Faculty
Subject to Annual Salary System.
11. Probation Period
The probation period is three months.
12. Working Form
Discretionary labor system for professional work based on the employee’s agreement (*) or Fixed working hours system.
* The working hours for a day are deemed to be 7 hours and 45 minutes.

14. Measures to Prevent Second-hand Smoke

(1) Oral interviews in Japanese will be conducted for the finalists, however the travel expenses for the interview will
not be provided. The interview will be conducted online if the finalist resides outside of Japan.
