M2N LLC operates authentic historical and cultural tours across Japan, currently in Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Nagasaki, with expansion to Kochi and Osaka. We partner with leading international tourism platforms, including GetYourGuide, Viator, GuruWalk, and Freetour.
We are hiring English-speaking Tour Guides (freelance) to lead group and private tours in Kochi. Your role is to share Japan's rich history and culture with international audiences, create memorable experiences, and maintain high professional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tours at Kochi's historical and cultural landmarks
- Deliver engaging presentations on Japanese and Kochi history and culture
- Communicate with guests before tours to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service with cultural sensitivity

勤務時間・曜日:
Flexible Scheduling (Freelance / Part-time)
Tours are assigned based on your availability and schedule preferences. You provide your availability, and we assign tours accordingly. Part-time and flexible arrangements are welcome. Compensation is hourly based on tours completed.
- Tours typically range from 2 to 6 hours per session
- Shifts arranged around tour schedules (morning, afternoon, and occasional evening tours)
- Availability submitted monthly (about one week before each month starts), with flexibility to adjust during the month
- Weekdays and/or weekends OK: you choose your days
- No fixed minimum days per week; ideal for supplementary income
- No overtime (compensation is hourly, based on tours completed)
- Work is conducted on-site at Kochi's historical and cultural landmarks, with meeting points and tour locations varying depending on the tour
休暇・休日:
As a part-time freelance position, vacation scheduling is flexible. We request 2 months advance notice for any extended time off to ensure proper tour scheduling and guest management. No paid holidays, as compensation is hourly based on tours completed. Holiday availability (New Year, Golden Week, Obon, etc.) is welcome and encouraged.

Passive smoking prevention: As all work is conducted outdoors at public sites, there are no indoor company premises. Smoking is not permitted during tours.

- Transportation to the meeting point: Guides are responsible for their own transportation from home to the designated meeting point.
- No fixed overtime pay: Compensation is hourly and based on tours completed.
- Performance-based rate increases: Guides can progress to higher compensation tiers based on consistent high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
