Job Description

Handle license applications, regulatory filings and reports

Assist with the development, implementation and administration of the Group compliance framework and policies

Conduct monitoring and surveillance of trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading and other violations

Investigate and resolve alerts generated by trade surveillance systems, and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders

Work on regional projects including system UAT, new investment models discussion, or system development
-
Conduct or assist with ad-hoc inspections and regulatory requests
Requirements

University graduate with major in Business, Finance or Law;

At least 2 years of experience in compliance, preferably in brokerage or asset management firms

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High attention to details

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines

Proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions. Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite Excel, Bloomberg

Proficient in Python, or VBA is a plus

Fluent in English and Japanese
