As INFORICH continues to expand its overseas business and accelerate cross-border commercial initiatives, the volume and complexity of international legal work are increasing. We are seeking an Associate to join the Overseas Legal Team to support contract review, legal research, regulatory coordination, and day-to-day legal operations across multiple jurisdictions.
This role will help strengthen the legal function supporting INFORICH’s global growth, ensure timely legal support for overseas business teams, and contribute to the development of scalable legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks for international operations.
Job Description
The Overseas Legal Team supports INFORICH’s international business operations and global expansion initiatives. The team is responsible for a broad range of cross-border legal matters, including commercial contract review and negotiation, corporate and regulatory support, legal risk management, and coordination with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
We are seeking an Associate who can primarily support day-to-day international legal matters while working closely with business teams and overseas stakeholders.
① Main Responsibilities
・Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements in English (e.g. NDAs, service agreements,
partnership agreements, PoC agreements, and other cross-border commercial contracts).
・Conduct legal research and provide practical legal support relating to overseas business operations
and regulatory matters.
・Support legal operations for overseas subsidiaries and international projects.
・Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
・Assist in the development and maintenance of legal templates, internal policies, and contract
management processes.
②Additional Responsibilities
・Support corporate governance and compliance-related matters for overseas entities
・Assist with M&A, strategic partnerships, and other international transactions.
・Support internal legal training and cross-functional legal awareness initiatives.
・Assist with operational, administrative, and ad hoc matters handled by the Overseas Legal Team.

The Overseas Legal Team works closely with business, strategy, finance, and overseas subsidiary teams to support INFORICH’s global operations and international expansion. The team handles a wide range of cross-border legal and commercial matters in a fast-paced and highly international environment.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior management and overseas stakeholders, gaining exposure to international transactions, commercial negotiations, and global legal operations across multiple jurisdictions. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
・Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent legal qualification).
・Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the UK, US, Australia, or another recognised
common law jurisdiction, or currently undertaking the qualification process with expected admission in the near term.
・Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to review and draft contracts in English.
・Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
・Interest in international business, cross-border legal matters, and global business operations.
・Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
・Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
・Prior experience at a law firm or in-house legal department (including internships).
・Experience reviewing or managing commercial agreements.
・Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
・Knowledge of corporate law, compliance, data privacy, or international business transactions.
・Experience using contract management systems or legal operations tools.
・Experience supporting overseas subsidiaries or cross-border projects.
・Japanese (Business Level) or Chinese (Business Level) Preferred but not mandatory.

Expected Compensation
・Expected Annual Compensation: JPY 4.0 million - JPY 4.8 million (including bonus)
・Monthly Salary: JPY 286,700 - JPY 353,000
(Includes fixed overtime allowance equivalent to 45 hours of overtime work)
Working Arrangements
・Standard Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
・Prescribed Working Hours: 8 hours per day (excluding a 1-hour break).
・Full Flex-Time System: Available
(No core hours. Employees may work between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Attendance at the weekly Monday 10:00 AM company meeting is generally required.)
