Position Title: Assistant Corrective Maintenance Manager (ACMM)
Area of Requirement: U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Yokosuka Naval Base; Naval Air Facility Atsugi; Camp Fuji; Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo and Hario Family Housing, Japan
Scope of Position: Reporting to the CMM, the ACMM plans, documents, coordinates, and executes all unscheduled
and corrective maintenance work. The ACMM ensures prompt service-order processing, supervises field teams in complex repairs, and may dual-hat as the L2 SSHO or QCM. Tasks and Capabilities Required:
- Corrective Maintenance Planning:
o Develop and manage the service-order backlog, assign priority levels (Emergency/Urgent/Routine) per paragraph 2.4.7.
o Schedule craft labor and subcontractors to meet response and completion time standards.
- Service Order Management:
o Oversee service-order intake, prepare Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and ensure submittals in Maximo per Attachment 8.0.
o Track progress and closure, perform batch reconciliations of completed work vs. government records.
o Lead multidisciplinary field crews (electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs) to execute corrective tasks.
o Conduct pre- and post-task walkthroughs, verify work meets QC acceptance criteria.
- Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain accurate repair logs, turn-in service-order summaries for monthly progress reports.
o Flag recurring failures and recommend preventive enhancements.
Mandatory Experience and Certifications:
- Three (3) years’ project management experience in healthcare construction, renovation, and maintenance in a hospital environment
- Familiarity with NFPA, EPA, OSHA, and TJC standards for corrective work
- English Language Proficiency Level III Preferred/Desired Certifications:
- ASHE CHFM, Project Management Professional (PMP), or ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)
