Join a high impact data analytics and platform team inside a global technology organization that reaches millions of users every day across e-commerce, fintech, telecommunications, media, and more. Working with massive real world marketplace data, you will help design large scale data platforms, build advanced analytics and AI solutions, and tackle challenges like fraud detection that directly affect customers and business growth. Your work will sit at the center of decision making, turning data into smarter strategies, better products, and real results seen by people around the world.
Role Overview
Strengthen data analysis and AI solution development for large-scale e-commerce data.
Solve business problems using machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics.
Focus on fraud detection, including fraudulent payment detection.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers and business teams to identify problems that can be solved with data science.
Define data requirements and plan effective data collection strategies.
Apply statistics, machine learning, and generative AI to uncover insights from large datasets.
Design and run experiments for AI solutions addressing business challenges.
Continuously tune and improve models for higher accuracy and performance.
Create clear, visual reports of analysis and experiment results.
Present insights to stakeholders to support decision-making.
Monitor solution performance and recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.

3+ years of experience in data analysis and machine learning modeling.
Strong knowledge of machine learning (including deep learning) and generative AI.
Experience applying advanced analytical methods to business problems.
Experience evaluating and tuning ML and generative AI models.
Python programming experience with common data science libraries.
Experience with SQL.
Solid understanding of statistics.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing AI solutions for fraud detection.
Consulting experience.
Experience building and operating data science services.
Experience in the e-commerce industry.
Knowledge of causal inference.
Experience building machine learning platforms.
Experience using BI tools such as Tableau.
