SORAでは、京都・祇園の伝統的な日本家屋で、外国人観光客向けの書道ワークショップを担当していただく講師を募集しています。
SORA is looking for part-time instructors to teach Japanese calligraphy to international visitors in a traditional Japanese house in Gion, Kyoto.
初心者向けの約90分間の書道体験で、書道の基本的な技法を実演し、漢字や書道について簡単に説明しながら、お客様の作品制作をサポートしていただきます。
You will lead a beginner-friendly 90-minute calligraphy experience, demonstrate basic techniques, explain calligraphy and kanji, and help guests create their own artwork.
未経験の方でも安心して勤務できるよう、事前に有給研修と統一されたレッスン手順をご用意しています。
Paid training and a standardized lesson procedure will be provided before you begin teaching independently.
主な仕事内容 ｜ Main Responsibilities
Teach Japanese calligraphy to international visitors
Demonstrate basic brush and ink techniques
Explain basic calligraphy techniques and kanji
Help guests create their own artwork
Prepare and organize calligraphy tools and materials
Clean up and reset the workshop space after each session

Experience with Japanese calligraphy (書道)
Able to read and write basic Japanese kanji
Comfortable communicating in English

書道の指導経験は必要ありません。学校やアルバイトとの掛け持ちを希望する方も歓迎します。
Previous teaching experience is not required. University students and those looking for part-time work alongside other commitments are welcome to apply.

10:00〜19:30の間で、1回約90分のワークショップを担当していただきます。
Flexible shifts are available between 10:00 AM and 7:30 PM. Each workshop is approximately 90 minutes.
週1回から勤務可能です。勤務日・時間は相談可能です。
We are looking for instructors who can work 1 shift per week or more. Days and working hours are negotiable.

京都・祇園エリアにある伝統的な日本家屋が勤務地です。
The position is based at our traditional Japanese house in the Gion area of Kyoto.
出張や転勤はありません。
No business travel or relocation is required.
施設内および周辺は禁煙です。
No smoking is permitted inside or around the workshop premises.

京阪「三条駅」または地下鉄東西線「東山駅」から徒歩約5分です。
Approximately 5 minutes on foot from Sanjo Keihan Station or Higashiyama Station.
給与:
給与・待遇 ｜ Compensation
経験・スキル・担当するお客様の人数に応じて、1時間あたり1,500円〜3,000円です。
Compensation is ¥1,500–¥3,000 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and group size.
1回約120分のワークショップにつき、3,000円〜6,000円程度をお支払いします。
Instructors are generally paid approximately ¥3,000–¥6,000 per 120 minutes workshop.
採用後は有給研修からスタートし、経験を積んで一人で大人数のワークショップを担当できるようになった場合は、報酬が上がる可能性があります。
New instructors will begin with paid training. Compensation may increase as you gain experience and demonstrate the ability to independently manage larger groups.
交通費については、勤務条件に応じて相談可能です。
Transportation expenses may be discussed depending on the work schedule.
