Join a high-impact data analytics and platforms team within a global technology organization that reaches millions of users daily across e-commerce, fintech, telecommunications, media, and more. You'll work with vast amounts of real-world marketplace data, designing large-scale data platforms, building advanced analytics and AI solutions, and tackling challenges like fraud detection that directly impact customer and business growth. Your work will be at the heart of decision-making, transforming data into smarter strategies, better products, and tangible results that people around the world can experience.
Role Overview
We will strengthen our data analysis and AI solution development for large-scale e-commerce data.
We solve business challenges using machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics.
We will focus on fraud detection, including fraudulent payment detection.
Job duties
We collaborate with product managers and business teams to identify challenges that can be solved with data science.
Define data requirements and plan an effective data collection strategy.
We apply statistics, machine learning, and generative AI to derive insights from large datasets.
We design and execute experiments for AI solutions that address business challenges.
We continuously adjust and improve our models for higher accuracy and performance.
We create clear and visual reports of analysis and experimental results.
We provide stakeholders with insights to support their decision-making.
We monitor the performance of the solution and propose improvements based on measurable results.

"Over 3 years of experience in data analysis and machine learning modeling."
Strong knowledge of machine learning (including deep learning) and generative AI.
Experience applying advanced analytical methods to business challenges.
Experience in evaluating and tuning ML and generative AI models.
Experience with Python programming using common data science libraries.
Experience with SQL.
A solid understanding of statistics.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Qualifications welcome
Experience in developing AI solutions for fraud detection.
Consulting experience.
Experience in building and operating data science services.
Experience in the e-commerce industry.
Knowledge of causal inference.
Experience in building machine learning platforms.
Experience using BI tools such as Tableau.
