In this role, you will be responsible for working with our business partners and product teams to understand the requirements that drive the technology solutions we will deploy and analyze key requirements needed. You will engage in the testing cycles of those solutions to align and drive that the design meets the original set of expectations. As part of the Digital and Technology team, you will work in a global and multinational team atmosphere, with team members that come to work with us, from various countries. You will engage with not only team members but with multinational vendors that support our destinations and experiences across the globe. So be prepared, as our primary language to operate in is English, daily; however, having other languages, like Japanese is a plus, for local communications.
After joining the company, you will gain a basic understanding of the latest technology for our theme parks and overall in park ride solutions. Not to worry, we will work with you to refine your business system analysis skills. Your role will be responsible for reporting to management both in Japan and within the US. Regardless of your length of service, you will be involved in operations with other parks around the world and will be able to grow significantly.

This role is responsible for daily support of USJ’s finance systems and for implementing finance-related integration solutions for projects.
The Finance Business Systems (BS) team works closely with Finance & Accounting, Product, and Digital Technology teams to deliver finance system solutions. This includes analyzing financial and system requirements, supporting ticketing, commerce, and payment integrations with SAP Finance, coordinating development and testing activities, and ensuring accurate financial postings and reporting.
1. Facilitate and support all phases of the finance systems project lifecycle, including initiation, scoping, requirements definition, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post–go-live support.
2. Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to analyze, document, and validate requirements related to:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Debit and credit posting logic
- Amortization and accrual processing
- Ledger balancing and reconciliation
- Financial and management reporting
3. Support leadership and peers by providing sound financial systems analysis, SAP - Finance solution design, and input into key decision-making.
4. Translate accounting rules, finance policies, and reporting requirements into clear functional system requirements and specifications, with a primary focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO).
5. Coordinate closely with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure:
- Financial postings are accurate and balanced
- Ledger entries comply with accounting standards
- Data integrity is maintained across integrated systems
6. Support finance-focused testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including validation of:
- Debit and credit balances
- Amortization schedules
- Period-end and adjustment postings
- Financial and management report outputs
7. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance, Accounting, vendors, project management, and Digital & Technology (D&T) teams through effective communication and collaboration.
8. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities by following established policies, procedures, training requirements, and team member involvement activities.

1. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including:
- Debit and credit logic
- General ledger structures
- Amortization and accrual concepts
2. Strong knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) or equivalent ERP finance modules.
3. Solid understanding of financial and management reporting, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and management reports.
4. Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, documentation, and impact analysis within finance systems.
5. Strong understanding of system integration and data flows across finance, accounting, and upstream business systems.
6. Well-developed critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Advanced interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Accounting, IT, and vendor teams.
8. Self-motivated and accountable, demonstrating a high level of ownership and responsibility. Schedule flexibility may be required to support finance system implementations and period-end activities.
Business proficiency in both Japanese and English
(Advanced High level or above / Professional Working Proficiency)
- 5+ years of experience supporting or delivering finance systems, ERP solutions, or SAP Finance–related initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience working within a large IT organization, finance transformation program, or consulting environment, partnering closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
Prior experience supporting:
- SAP Finance implementations or enhancements
- Finance system integrations
- Financial reporting or ledger-related initiatives
- Proven experience contributing to solution design, coordinating development and testing activities, and supporting large-scale, multi-year enterprise programs.
