About us:
Laura's English School is a friendly, well-established English school with three locations all within 5 minutes' walk of Takatsu Station (Den-en-toshi). Our programs include afterschool care, regular English classes for tots through adults, and exam preparation coaching (Eiken, TOEIC).
仕事内容:
After-school:
1. Working with bilingual Japanese staff to manage English program, games, time outside etc.
2. Creating material for classes (craft, science, environment, English, math…)
3. Communicating with parents and face to face counseling.
4. Entertain children in English and be able to teach classes such as craft, environment, math…
English classes:
1. Follow the school curriculum.
2. Teach classes based on textbooks.
3. Explain the grammar.
4. Create conversations between students and teacher.
5. Write class reports at the end of the lessons and communicate with parents.
Others:
1. Taking kids from elementary schools to our school (by car or on foot)
2. Taking students between classrooms that are about 5 minutes apart
3. Simple emails and answering phone calls is a plus
4. Create conversations between students and teacher
5. Helping with easy tasks (such as cleaning etc...)

You will work with 1 Japanese bilingual assistant and other native English teachers.
求める人材:
Application requirements as the below:
1. Good communication skill
2. Experience with children in a day care environment is a plus, or experience teaching classes.
3. Native level English. Conversational Japanese is welcome, advanced Japanese is a plus
4. Ability to teach classes for Eiken exam
5. For residents of Japan only
6. Valid driver's license in Japan and experience driving a regular car is a plus
勤務時間・曜日:
13:00 ~ 19:00 Monday to Friday + one Saturday per month.
Classes start no earlier than 13:30.
Actual working hours will be discussed and decided individually within this time range.
Afterschool is Monday to Friday but we have classes on Saturday as well, so depending on which class you are going to be teaching, you may have Saturday to work.
休暇・休日:
1. Regular days off will be decided in consultation when discussing workdays.
2. Sundays and national holidays are guaranteed days off, as the school is closed on these days.
3. We have a New Year break

給与:
交通費支給/Transportation will be paid. (Up to ¥15,000 for transportation fee)
待遇・福利厚生:
Health insurance, social insurance, pension and VISA will be provided for full time staff. Transportation up to 15,000 yen per month will be paid.
