This opportunity is for an application development engineer at an industry solution team in Electronic Industry Solutions Group, which is responsible team for delivering manufacturing solutions to semiconductor industry. The application development engineer will be in charge of contributing to business growth by mainly developing and supporting application for new and existing solution aiming at customers world-wide mainly for parametric tester or WAT tester.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a business development team for Silicon Photonics business.

Develop business plans, including NPI launch plans, and strategic marketing programs to drive growth in semiconductor (photonics) market segments within assigned regions.

Conduct sales enablement activities to empower the sales team to execute effectively.

Support the sales team in leading customer engagements, progressing deals and providing post-sales customer care.

Manage commercial communications with customers, the sales team and KGSO.

Collaborate with functions within the WTS SiPh team and OF to drive business growth and resolve customer issues.

Manage order and delivery forecasts and work with OF to ensure stable, on-time delivery.

Obtain and analyze industry and customer insights, identify trends and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent).

Typically >8 years of relevant work experience with a strong focus on the semiconductor industry in a customer-facing environment.

Experience in sales, business development, marketing, and/or customer application development.

Sound business judgment with deep knowledge of customer organizations and markets is preferred.

Knowledge of customer foundry business models and/or product development lifecycles is an advantage.

Self-starter with strong facilitation skills and ability to work across different functions and regions.

Customer-first mindset with a holistic, solution-oriented approach and proactive, results-driven business attitude

Excellent communication and presentation skills; goal oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrates urgency and passion for the role.
