Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic and knowledgeable Tour Guides to join our team in Tokyo and Osaka. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guided experiences for international visitors, ensuring memorable, informative, and enjoyable tours while representing our company with professionalism.
English fluency is required.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided city tours and excursions in Tokyo or Osaka.
- Welcome and assist international guests throughout their journey.
- Share engaging historical, cultural, and local insights.
- Ensure guests follow the planned itinerary and schedule.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and the operations team.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Recommend local attractions, shopping, dining, and cultural experiences.
- Ensure guests' safety and comfort throughout the tour.
- Represent the company with excellent customer service and professionalism.
- Submit daily operational reports when required.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Tour Guide, Tour Leader, or Travel Representative.
- Excellent spoken English (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Tokyo or Osaka attractions, culture, transportation, and history.
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality.
- Valid work authorization in Japan.
勤務時間・曜日:
Working days: Based on assigned tour schedules and customer bookings, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Working hours: Flexible. Half-day tours (approximately 4 to 5 hours) or full-day tours (approximately 8 to 10 hours), depending on the assigned itinerary.
Breaks: Provided during the tour itinerary, depending on the schedule.
Overtime: No fixed overtime. Working hours may extend based on tour requirements and itinerary.
Work style: Freelance / On-site. Travel to designated tourist destinations within Japan is required.
Probation period: None (if hiring freelancers), or 3 months if you are engaging the guide under a regular employment contract.
