Probationary period: Three months
Working hours:
The discretionary working system in the type of professional work based on consent (*) or the fixed
working hour system will be applied.
* The working hours for a day are deemed as 7 hours 45 minutes.
Salary and allowances:
Compensation based on the National University Corporation Hokkaido University Salary Rules for
Faculty Subject to Annual Salary System.
Social insurance:
Employees' Pension Insurance (Kousei Nenkin), MEXT Mutual Aid Association Health Insurance,
Employment Insurance, Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance

1. Full curriculum vitae (including the Web of Science ResearcherID, if available).
2. A list of research accomplishments. Research papers should be categorized into peer-reviewed
original papers and other papers.
3. A list of external research funds awarded to the applicant.
4. Representative academic publications, 5 titles or less.
5. A summary of the track record of the applicant's research activities (up to 1000 words),
educational activities (up to 600 words)
6. Future aspirations in a research career and educational activities (up to 1500 words)
7. Names of two referees with contact details (affiliations and email addresses)
