Job Description:
1. Optical Design (Leadership Position)
- Development of elemental technologies for ultrashort pulse and short-wavelength laser oscillators, and their commercialization.
- Development of elemental technologies for highly controlling uniquely developed laser oscillators, and their commercialization.
- Planning of development goals (performance, cost, schedule) based on the company's overall strategy (business roadmap).
- Project leadership through to development completion, while understanding the status of R&D members.
- Negotiation with suppliers regarding specifications of key components for achieving performance targets, and conclusion of delivery (purchase) specifications.
- Leadership in creating and establishing documentation for production transfer, and guidance on manufacturing methods to the production department.
- Leadership of the process from development plan formulation to production transfer.
2. Mechanical Design & Production Engineering (Leadership Position)
- Develop and design the mechanical parts of laser oscillators based on the product development plan.
- Analyze the strength of areas requiring strength, and consider optimal shapes taking into account processing methods.
- Negotiate with suppliers and external design contractors regarding specifications of key components to achieve performance targets, and formulate delivery (purchase) specifications.
- Lead the creation and establishment of documentation for the production transfer of developed products, and collaborate with the production department to provide guidance on manufacturing methods.
- Manage the entire process from product development to production transfer.
- Lead the entire process from development plan formulation to production transfer.
3. Electric & Mechanic (Leadership Position)
- Development and operation verification of control software (embedded software or PC control software) for laser oscillators.
- Debugging of developed control software.
- Development of automated control systems for adjustment processes in laser oscillator production.
- Development of network systems with external devices via TCP/IP (PC control software).

- 3+ years of research and development experience in industrial lasers and processing machines, or industrial laser printers.
- 3+ years of research and development experience in solid-state or gas laser oscillators.
- 3+ years of research and development experience in high-power optical fibers, or optical communication equipment and devices.
- One of the above experiences is mandatory.

Salary:
- Monthly salary: ¥339,470 - ¥494,860, including a fixed overtime payment of ¥55,470 - ¥80,860 (equivalent to 25 hours per month). Overtime exceeding 25 hours will be paid additionally.

- Salary system: May be an annual salary system depending on the position (up to ¥8,000,000 annual salary; bonus included in annual salary; no separate bonus is provided).
- Fixed overtime pay:
Equivalent to 20-40 hours per month depending on the position.
